This is a wake up call for all shareholders. Suggest everyone in a Liberal or National held seat, send an email/letter to your local MP asking for this hostile takeover in all but name to be investigated for ways of it being stopped. In my opinion, the potential loss of value of our shares is entirely secondary to 1. the Redflow battery technology being a strategic technology for Australia's economy 2. the Redflow battery technology has been partially funded by the Australian tax payer via the ATO tax credits/rebates. 3. the future opportunity to one day manufacture Redflow batteries here in Australia. (long shot I know but as the labour requirement of the factory decreases through automation it is possible, and therefore Australia could export batteries to the world)....after all if batteries can be made in the USA and exported we could one day do the same.
