I bet one battery works for alot of homes. I just meant to say for a fully family house to run alot of appliances, say in summer with AC's running and appliances, its a stretch for one battery. Run a fridge, AC, kettle and hot water...doesnt take much to get over that peak rating. That's all.
Rurally it seems the costs of a few Redflows in an installation makes sense with advantages of potentially going fully off grid. A friend of mine has been off grid for about 12 years and recently swapped the old lead acid batteries they were using for lithium. They know about Redflow so i'd have to ask why they didnt choose them.
The Redflow utility scale projects look very promising.
