Making something genuinely new and commercialising it is always a high risk endeavour with twists and turns being inevitable. This has indeed been the case. No secrets and no surprises about that.

I guess I have to respectfully disagree with the latter comment. I think that its only the truly passionate that change the world.

Of course, passion alone doesn't guarantee changing the world, but not being passionate about making the new thing work pretty much guarantees that you won't get there (IMHO).
