    Plausible.

Like I said, we just don't know. With the benefit of hindsight, it's clear that Redflow entered the market far too soon; they hadn't stabilised the tech, hadn't figured out all the ins and outs that they needed to have a solid product. It would have been better to have spent more time in the startup phase, developing the techniques to manage the electrolytes and byproducts, and then enter the market with something a bit more solid and reliable.

Maybe they thought they'd fixed the issues and discovered too late that they hadn't. But the right thing to do in that circumstance would have been to stop sales, reach out to existing customers, explain the problems that had been found, and work to rectify them. Be up front. Be open. Show that you know what is happening and that you're doing what you can to resolve the issues.

Maybe they would have lasted longer if they'd done that. Maybe they wouldn't. We don't know, can't know now. I just hope that the technical staff (in particular) find appropriate jobs for their skills, without too much time on Newstart (or whatever they're calling it these days). That latter is something I wouldn't wish on my own worst enemy - it was utterly soul destroying for me (five or six months, and it was easily the worst five or six months of my life.) I'm verging on a rant now, so I'll stop.
