Hard to believe a US stock exchange could be any worse than the ASX. We've got it all, bot trading, front running, shorting, shares loaned for shorting without holders knowledge, fake buy and sell orders, price capping, price manipulation, suss takeovers, insider trading, one rule for retail another for brokers, the list goes on.
Mum and dads retirement money is being scooped up by the big boys. A dual listing would allow for more investors to buy in. Might even reduce some price volatility. I presume foreign brokers already have the means to short on the ASX/chi-x if they so wished.
And look at the performance difference.
