    There is no doubt that for batteries are being seen, in the US, as a good from of long-term storage at grid scale. My view is that, for a scheme of 600Mw, an array of, say, 60 large vanadium flow units might look better suited than 600 Gen3 Redflows.

    I like to imagine 3 or 4 Gen3’s in the back of an Amarok, with 3 or 4 beefy blokes ready to install anywhere, rough roads or tracks not an issue. Or delivery by barge to an island. This is the flexibility that Redflow can offer, that no-one else can match. Better to sell this unique quality than try to fight with big US companies for installations in which the small, modular characteristic is a handicap.
