    My thoughts on when any shortfall from the last CR could be taken up were that there might be some interest when all the milestones on both feasibility studies are met, that is when the partial reimbursements for the X10 battery prototype and new factory feasibility studies are complete. The target time frame for both of those is the second half of 2024.

    I agree that part of the stated aim of the CR has been met, in part, "supporting continued discussions with QLD Government and other Government agencies for financial and other commercial support"

    The in part is, Redflow now has an MOU with Stanwell and a fairly well defined set of conditions (I'm only referring to the few we are aware of) to meet before Stanwell will consider if the 400 MWh project will proceed with Redflow. There is the feasibility study first where Stanwell get an up close and personal look at their FEITH. I would expect that should happen to all comers so that Stanwell knows how any future installations should perform.

    One thing I do wonder is how many up rated Energy Pods holding multiple X10 batteries will fill the tasks? I recall some time ago Tim being non committal about the storage capacity, at that point in time It was essentially an idea, mentioning storage of maybe up to a MWh and the internal voltage will be increased above what the ZBM3 uses. How far, we get to find out. There are space considerations, the X10 at that point I think existed on paper too. I'm guessing the aim is to fit 2 new Energy Pods in a forty foot shipping container. So will it be 5 up rated Energy Pods for a 5 MWh installation, or maybe 10? More new info coming one day.

    A refresher on what info we have;

    Slide 13 from https://wcsecure.weblink.com.au/pdf/RFX/02795405.pdf

    And while you've got that slide set open have another read, the last bit I looked at was slide 11. Some is on the way in one form or another, 3 months ago the ‘Fortune 500’ USFinancial Services project is still in the mix it seems, an example of a longish kind of lead time from the first mention.

    "Does the Barona Band Project Grant funding supports the other requirements of " supporting delivering announced projects, key engineering developments and scaling up of the Thailand manufacturing"?"

    My understanding is that the funds received On Entry for the CEC/DoE funded projects are only for that manufacturing batch, with another chunk of payment on arrival at a port in the US and then the final and smallest amount on arrival at the job site. Not actually intended to cover key engineering developments and scaling up of Thailand manufacturing. That is my understanding. Additionally there is this in relation to the Barona 6.6 MWh LDESproject, it mentions revenue, not profit;

    Just another pointer to why it is vital to improve efficiency in manufacturing.

    However staff remain on the payroll, how their time is used is not necessarily defined by On Entry funding I guess so long as the batch being manufactured proceeds to schedule, the most recent example would be, from LinkedIn;
