Remember that the Redflow ZBM is not actually a true redox flow battery. Our Zinc plating machine is considered a Hybrid Flow Battery.
True flow batteries don't have a solid metal state in the chemistry of charge/discharge cycle. The electrolytes always stay in solution as ions move across a membrane. In this form it really is about the volume of the tanks. Ours isn't quite like that with limits on surface area and plating thickness inside the stack.
Remember that the Redflow ZBM is not actually a true redox flow...
