Agree regarding the no. of (moving) parts compared to other batteries is a potential negative. However it is not an actual negative if the quality and reliability is there. I don't care how complex my car is provided it doesn't break down. Real world data on the failure rates as well as published mean time between failure provide the answers we are looking for in this regard. I read a report a long time ago on a small system of just a few batteries where 1 failed in the first year. Gen3 should improve this area.
