When things are hard to justify, they generally aren't justified. I have acted reasonably but not rationally in this case and have donated an amount 'to do my share', proportional to my current holding. I can and have made multiple bpayments to spps and will do this if the sp holds up and/or I see anything before the offer closes that changes my mind and makes me think that following the cr the sp will be on a constantly rising trajectory. As things stand with the co and the economy, I think we may see it come back lower and I will be able to add (if I want) at a lower price than the spp price including brokerage. This is just me guessing, and saying and doing what I think, as usual.
