I agree, I think the market is concerned about the ability to deliver the batteries, starting with the 20MWh Californian deal with deliveries scheduled for 'late 2023 and the first half of 2024'.

Previously RFX have installed 192 batteries for Anaergia in December 2021. That was the ZBM2.5 battery.

The ZBM3 is supposed to have 50% fewer parts and 40% reduced production time. They finalised delivery of 56 of the new ZBM3s in April 2023 to the Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island.

According to the 2023 results presentation, full production of ZBM3s resumed in August 2023 after quality issues with High Density Polyethylene.

Can they deliver 2,000 ZBM3s to California between now and say June 2024?

That's about 220 batteries/month if starting now (Oct 2023). RFX plan a '2nd shift commencing in January 2024' (from the 2023 annual report).

In 2018 AGM board member David Knox said the Thai factory produced 81 ZMB2.5 batteries in Oct and planned for 150 in Dec of 2018, and they could produce 250 if they had a double shift.

This is just my idle musings back of the envelope stuff, also not taking into consideration additional costs required. But based on the above I feel we should be able to make the batteries, at least for this initial order.

How the remaining deals fit in is to be seen, but I’m sure that smarter minds than mine have thought about that, including additional capacity/factories. Those batteries are for later delivery also.

It's still a long road ahead.
