I cannot help thinking that Redflow needs better financial advisors. It seems that they make an announcement that spikes the price, then announce a capital raising. I think they have done this a couple of times.

As we know, the price only stays high briefly before dropping again, often below the previous level. And of course the capital raise fails because no-one is going to pay above the market price.

Any sensible advisor would know this is a ridiculous strategy. If you need the money, you need the money, and you want the capital raise to get it for you. Better to do it at a steady price where it is more likely to be successful, and you get the money you need. It may not get you as much as at the higher price, but at least you get the money.
