Just to clarify: they provided me with a full refund of the purchase price
as paid to Redflow by seven20 Electrical. That, obviously, is going to be less than the purchase price that I paid seven20 - they had to have their profit margin (and I've been consistent in saying that: I never expect a business to sell me a product at the price they buy it for.) I can't in good conscience expect Redflow to reimburse me the amount that I paid seven20. It would have been nice for me if they had, but it's not a realistic expectation, IMO.
On a side note, it may interest some in this forum that seven20 is officially in liquidation, as of late February, per
https://publishednotices.asic.gov.a...58802165/61356fa7-7c6d-4325-bdc0-a3764922b628. On another side note, the Pylontech battery modules have been working very nicely for me alongside the Victron setup that was originally installed; on days that the ZBM would get to maybe 60 or 70% of capacity, the Pylontech have finished up around 100% (helped, significantly, by not doing a three-day maintenance discharge, so it's not a complete apples to apples comparison.) I want to install a couple more and do a bit of a home project (software; I have the Raspberry Pi to run it right here) to capture more of the energy from the solar setup (there's still a fair amount flowing to the grid that I want in my EV), but that's a question of money I don't have right now.
