Your logic is good the only issue is that institution will likely hold until the last minute before they sell so it could be say 28% Friday morning and offer closes Friday arvo. On Monday they announce another 20-30% or so. In my opinion the biggest volume will be in the last 2 hours of the offer even if it is extended. So by the time you know they have a majority it is closed. When they and FMG bought they jumped from not a lot to 20% before you could blink. It will be the same rush at the end.
In the absence of an extension, next Monday's significant holder announcement will be the interesting one. I have sent off but showing holding until they leave my account.

Yeah and ? i can sell until she gets 90% which she wont as the max is 80 for her.
I can sell to her at 50/60/70/80
I see your point but does not mean i cant sell at 4.2c at any of those levels. Her bid remains at 4.2 until 13th Oct unless they default on loan prior.
