I'm all for obtaining information in a nice neat format. You make a good point about compliance etc. But at the end of the day the company selects which agency prepares the documentation, and the agency works for the client. I believe there is a huge conflict of interest it many if not most of these situations.
When I graduated from uni I worked for a marketing firm that use to prepare similar documentation. We were always careful to word things in a way that would please the client. There is always a huge element of bias and that is what annoys me the most. In this case they are clearly leaning towards Gina. It just all seems like a bit of a fire sale to me...I think they will be happy to take their bonuses and severance packages and bail.
