Personally I would rather see directors of all companies receive...

Personally I would rather see directors of all companies receive a fair but modest wage, not the big crazy dollars, however at the end of each year assess where the company is, what the company has achieved, profit wise then if theres decent returns give them some free options. The next year its the same again, they do the hard yards they make returns to shareholders then they get rewarded... But none of this big dollar wages just for showing up
