Yeah I agree with you and other posters that shareholders would get nothing. IGO might become 'King of the Mills' but considering its actually 'King of Australian Ni Sulfide mills' thats like boasting about being the largest manufacturer of horse-drawn carts in 1926, or the biggest manufacturer of photographic film in 2004. Unless the entire Indonesian Ni industry gets swallowed up by the earth tomorrow, the value of WA Ni assets is $0

Will be interesting to see how Trafigura get out of this one, and who wants to own this to potentially put it into C&M for an unknown period of time, its the uncertainty of the timeframe that is the killer here for any potential savior/investor, if this down-cycle or resetting of the cost curve is permanent, or decadal in timespan, then all these assets will be rusty museum pieces/environmental liabilities before the next nickel boom.
