IXR are much more certain about their ionic clay deposit and they're in a cheaper jurisdiction for mining. If it can be shown that MRD have a largely ion-adsorption deposit it will skyrocket. That's a big if still at this stage.
If not we'll need lots and lots of tonnes, low radioactive waste, and a lot of support and time to get it to production. The Lynas story is a good insight into how difficult rare earths processing is in hard rock.
I want this to boom as much as everyone else but until more metallurgical studies are done it's a risky proposition. That simple. I don't think the share price is being held back by anyone, it's where it is because that's the stage the company is at.
