    Norwest Minerals (ASX:NWM) completes $1M placement for REE samples

    Norwest Minerals (ASX:NWM) has completed a placement to Soleado Holdings to raise $1M to be used to collect drill samples from the rare earth element (REE) enriched clays from the the Bitter Springs sediments at its Arunta West Project.

    The 22-hole aircore drill program, scheduled to commence on 14 June, will involve the enriched basin clay samples undergoing recovery testing to determine if they classify as ionic adsorption clays.

    Following the announcement, shares of Norwest Minerals were up 3.70%.

    The company is a 100% West Australian focused mineral explorer with highly prospective assets including gold, copper, nickel, REE, and Lithium.
