I'm not really sure that I understand the issue regarding palatabilty.. If a herb or medication tastes bad you simply whack it in a capsule, which no doubt reduces the shelf life as the drug is not stabilised by binders etc., but job done!. I could do that if they want?. If the drug reacts with stomach acid and causes reflux or other side effects this is somewhat different but still not that hard to remedy using an enteric coating.. All this is basic pharmacology 101.. Unless the drug uptake is best in the large intestine which is a bit trickier to accomplish particularly with dogs which have a shorter colon than humans.. But still hardly rocket science!. As far as dosage goes surely it's possible to take two tabs which is the case with many drugs?. Please enlighten me if I am way off track!?..
