don't think it will happen. Yes equities are way overvalued and markets should come down, but the drop of this magnitude will result in massive problems, corporate and personal insolvencies on the unprecedented scale. They will kick the can down the road again... perhaps they are out of ammo and they wont. But if it does happen, everything will go down as people and institutions sell everything. Margin calls will get triggered, etc. Something tells me no government has any more capacity to print themselves out of such mess. Structural changes are on the way, which general public will learn in the coming year or two. The best way is to leave resulting mess to market economics to get rid of zombies and unproductive assets in general, go through global recession and come out ready for sustainable growth. That's not going to happen as governments grasp to power. So much of the same untill they change the rules and move goal posts.
