They are obligated to take the scrip under the truth in takeovers provision. It doesn't mean they can't sell as much AYS as they want before accepting for the balance at the end of the period. I was simply highlighting the downward pressure exerted by a major motivated seller. If they ended up with WAM you can be sure they would be hitting the sell side pretty hard. Just cautioning new AYS/WAM holders.
Side note. I do believe they will sell AYS as opposed to convert quickly as the liquidity is present. They could have offloaded half their remaining holding over the last two days....
