I sold my WAM shares at $2.27 and bought AYS at 0.74.
Using round figures rather than what I actually sold/bought, say I sold 1,000 WAM shares = $2.27 x 1,000 = $2270, less $11 trade cost, gives me $2,259.
I buy AYS shares (@ $0.74) with that money from the sold WAM shares. $2,259- $11 (trade cost) = $2,248 / 0.74 = 3,037 AYS shares.
Takeover was 1 WAM for 2.675 AYS shares, so that will give me 3037 / 2.675 = 1,135 WAM shares.
Gain is 135 shares and at the current lower WAM price it's $292 gained.
