I hold WAM and other funds within the group and so far have been very nicely rewarded. I think the initial selling pressure here is very understandable but I believe it’s the long term holders who will benefit from this transaction. If I understood correctly, I think WAM will get 30% (from franking credit) for every dollar from this transaction as such there may be a significant boost in the NTA (I assume it’s calculated including franking credit), which will ultimately reflect on the SP. Also if I remember correctly they profit close to 18mil from the other two recent takeover. For me I am yet to find another LIC which is as good as this and also I very positively value their communication approach.. all IMO DYOR
