Great post, papa - a concise and incisive observation.

In answer to your question, we will never get 'what we are worth' in any takeover scenario. As a mentor told me, 'You always have to leave a bit for the next bloke'.

If a fair dinkum offer lobs, our Board will have to answer a simple question: Does the price offered today adequately compensate us (shareholders) for foregoing the long-term value of our assets? Simple question - complex calculation that must account for the risks in delivering that long-term value.

    I'm with you, papa:

    > Strike is well-capitalised.
    > It is generating cash.
    > It operates its assets.
    > Its Directors are experienced and connected.

One never discounts skullduggery by others, but they'd need to be pretty clever. We remain in the driving seat. I'm confident we will receive a good return however this plays out. Oh, and I average 16 cents but happily topped up at 43.

    OOO
