I think you misunderstand that my post is not simply to criticise Shenghe. I made it clear their presence has its value. Indeed we may well have failed to get to the starting line without them. And yes, we might have ended up like AVZ. Similarly, I acknowledged the Govt here may not have been able to exercise any jurisdiction when they bought in.
What I was saying is that this news item suggests that any attempt by Shenghe to move beyond its existing holding in PEK may meet resistance from Govt.
