Without access to the detailed contract terms we are of course whistling in the wind, but whatever the deal, the least of my concerns are that a contractor ‘tail’ could wag the explorer ‘dog’.
Unless of course someone gives me an actual historical example of that happening elsewhere in the mining business my intuition and common sense tells me someone with skin in the game will be last to leave the scene, not the first.
