this has hit my radar....i do favour met coal - but some things just dont add up...

- cash is almost gone. 3 qtrs left. even at 1:1 cap raise u can only raise $16m which wont go far even if the maple leaf smokers do a u turn on policy.
- with some parts of canada hitting 49 deg celcius a few weeks ago - climatge change greenies will rule the roost
- will take $$$$ to pay consultant etc to get through the many regulatory hurdles, if possible at all. time+money = opportunity cost

i fear this will be a looooonnnnnggggg drawn out process that will end with 3bn++ issued cap and no mine for years. yes, i can buy 100k shares for $2.9k but will that go to dust via perpetual cap raise or liquidation?

been down a similar road with many a stock, compelling value but is this a value trap?
