I have never read wikipedia about how laws are enacted.
I provided a rather basic explanation in my post as the actual process can vary considerably when amendments are proposed/considered, there is also the situation where the upper house decides to send the bill to a committee, etc.
The advantage for myself, with my knowledge, is that because the Canadians use effectively the same process as Australia I was easily able to locate online resources to track the progress/timing for the ITC legislation.
