Overnight there was a marathon meeting of the lower house...

Overnight there was a marathon meeting of the lower house finance committee to go through each clause of Bill C59, the meeting lasted 8.5 hours and concluded this morning with agreement to report the amended bill back to the house.

The amendments had no material impact on the ITC-CCS portions of the bill so the next step is for the House of Commons (the lower house) to conduct a third reading and vote. I expect that to be voted through thus sending the bill to the senate for them to then conduct their three readings of the bill.
