Ben I think and hope you are wrong, write offs, crap results,tough times ahead etc and a share price up from 90c to a $1.20 at close yesterday all since the impairment news and still paying a dividend . I am thinking there might be some " very good" news for ASL not far away. I am not sure if punters buy shares in Drill & Blast Companies on PE estimates 12 months out I think they buy on yesterdays news before it gets to the market. Just remember with the split up of BHP there will be a fair bit of new contract letting maybe ASL are in line for some more action.I am just on the where there is smoke there is fire theory
