I know what you mean. To me it always feels like many company directors just want to keep getting paid and dont care too much how big a discount or what fees and conditions apply as long as bank is topped up. Often seems apparent to market that a company simply burned all its cash and wants more to keep burning and ambling along, hence negative reaction to most cr's. Felt that way with pyc a few years back. Things changed when the first 4 mil was raised with no real discount to a fund which i think turned out to be mr Tribe's initial investment.
This feels significantly different now. To achieve the placement they must have been able to convince investors returns are close and they are not in it to take directors fees. Next year will be very interesting.
