As at 17th Sept 2018 Shares held by holders were:

4541 Holders 1 - 1000 Shares = 3.2M
10007 Holders 1001 - 5000 shares = 27.8M
4856 Holders 5001 - 10000 shares = 38.8M
8555 Holders 10001 - 100000 shares = 273.9M
1563 Holders 100001 - Over Shares = 1401M
Total 29,522 Holders = 1744M shares

So assuming 30% Reside oversea's and hence are not eligible and 10% won't bother applying for the SPP that leaves approx 18,000 Holders that will apply for the SPP.

If they issue the shares evenly we each get allocated approx $1,100 worth of shares.

If they base it on the holding amount then anyone who holds under 100,000 shares will likely get allocated approx $200 worth of shares.

So either way the $20M allocation to shareholders via the SPP will make bugger all difference to 99% of shareholders.
Its hardly worth sending $30,000 to the company and getting allocated $200 worth of shares and then waiting several weeks to get your $29,800 back again.
