I made good money out of Straits, even though I was pretty much ignorant as to what it had. I was fortunate.
I am much more informed these days when investing. I fell into a couple of holes along the way though, a couple of deep ones too. However, I persist, such is my nature. I also recall the halcyon Poseidon period 1969-71 when I traded very successfully in Sydney when a uni student. Now, they were the days!! The current climate is reminiscent though. Look at Chalice for instance.
