I emailed ROOTS and asked if they will still be looking at...

I emailed ROOTS and asked if they will still be looking at getting into plant/hemp based food ventures moving forward? Or if the company will just be focusing on the supply of it's technologies to farms/growers instead? they responded pretty quick with the below;

"ROOTS will not seek entry into the HEMP FOOD biz in the USA as ASX ordered us to drop the venture. While this is unfortunate we believe there are a number of AG TECH opportunities in the USA that are worth pursuing and we continue to do so.Appreciate your trust in ROOTS"

One of the reasons I invested in the company was the possibilty of the HEMP FOOD ventures in the US, so it's disapointing news.
I still think their tech has huge potential in the agricultual industry. Hopefully their technologies that increase the yeild of crops(weed, tomatoes, lettuce ect) start getting traction and they get some bigger deals/announcements happening.

We'll have to wait and see what happens, good luck everyone!!
