Well ... it's a good question in part.
Thanks for the welcome
@MrAwesome and
@big finnI cannot recall ever having witnessed a media relations person 'signing off' on an ASX announcement. Normally it's the company secretary or CEO etc.
To check my view, because things might not be as I think, I previewed several announcements from yesterday trading.
https://www.asx.com.au/asx/statistics/prevBusDayAnns.doIrrespective, for such an important announcement why didn't the BOD sign off on the announcement?
If, I were a shareholder my questions would be;
1. Does the media relations representative have the legal responsibility as per Guidance Note 14, clause 17? Perhaps he does? It is worth asking though.
https://www.asx.com.au/documents/rules/gn14_asx_market_announcements_platform.pdf2. Why has the quarterly report not been released to the market or, is that also dependent on these 'couriered documents'?
3. Is there any information that can be made available regarding the missing quarterly report?
4. Given the fact that shareholders have provided significant funds (
their funds) to the most recent 'placement' and that they are not in a position (because of the delay with the quarterly report) to see how
their company is performing financially, can the company confirm if there have been any
material changes to the capital structure and or cash position of CGB?
5. Is CGB conforming to its own '
Corporate Governance' statement? (
Principle 4: Safeguard integrity in financial reporting)https://www.canngloballimited.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/governance.pdf6. Given that the recent 'update' was headed as follows, "Cann Global Limited - Update on receipt of International documentation" Is this the remaining tem that is preventing the reinstatement of CGB's securities to the ASX?
I think it is worth asking because in the update released yesterday it was noted, "
Upon receipt of these documents by the ASX to satisfy the remaining relisting conditions" (note plural
conditions)
Are there other conditions that must be satisfied prior to reinstatement - quarterly report perhaps?
