According to an article in the AFR they can via a clause in the agreement called ‘Fiduciary Out’ or something like that but it’d mean they would have to pay PDL $13M or something like that if I’m not mistaken.
But it would have to be a very compelling and much much higher offer for them to consider this, ie in the better interest of shareholders etc
