I would view the fraud in Vietnam which occurred a long time ago, and the related death penalty in the news this week, as more of a non event in Vietnam this year rather than a black swan event. Bank stocks in Vietnam have been star performers in 2024. UOS knew this was coming well before they have signalled further intentions to gradually invest more in Vietnam.
