The 2 Feb market update also clearly failed to disclose all material information known to the company at that time, since it made no mention of alleged takeover talks which had been leaked to the press earlier that afternoon.
So the company self imposes a deadline to release a market update by 2 Feb, then releases an incomplete and arguably unsatisfactory update by 2 Feb for which it was clear the ASX could not accept. Was it the ASX's fault that a market update had not been released by GSW's self imposed deadline, or was the lack of any published announcement by the deadline entirely GSW's fault? I'll let everyone decide for themselves. I will say that I don't see any reason to fault the headline "GetSwift flunks deadline" nor any reason to doubt the AFR's journalistic integrity in that article.
For what it's worth, I don't have any opinions on GSW either way, I just think it is incredibly dangerous for society to have people make casual, unjustified attacks on reputable news outlet's integrity.

On the last paragraph, there are reasons for distrust in the AFR and the obsessions of some of their authors (e.g. Jemima "Tim Tams" Whyte). For her, specifically, it has been an article a week since December and almost daily in Jan/Feb.
