This site was originally a Bega facility in the past(60's onwards) and fully returned to BGA as part of the Lion buyout, Bega used to own it back then so unless Lion sold it and leased it back during their ownership I would imagine it is still owned.
The whole site is not closing down, only the manufacturing side, The whole site employed 36 people only 19 are affected by this, so the distrubition/ cold storage side is remaining. One can imagine that this is the first stage of the overall plan for the site and more will come to light as they work through it, I guess the consolidation of the manufacturing side is at this stage what really counts.
