This is good news.... Maybe the detail is in what the doctor said. Direct injections = 80% healing rate, which is rather high !
They have been using these cells for a while in hospitals in Australia with success too, so I wouldn't say necessarily that the IV route failed to have an effect...
What they may find, with direct injection they may get away with significantly less cells needed = lower cost of therapy = more competitive.
