Everyone is smarter in hindsight, but I think as the whitepapers were published in 2020 marking age as a huge factor in mortality rates it would have been silly not to ask the dsmb to amend the inclusion criteria for age. they actually did this late in the piece for BMI, which was interesting.
They had 4 balls in the air and dropped them all, maybe because they were taking on too much? who knows. It's certainly a very intriguing "what if"
