I agree with you in most cases, like if you invest in a speculative miner etc.
However, in this case many of us believe there could be a legal case that the company and other related parties might have to answer for. In that respect we can't just walk away, we must follow through and ensure all avenues are explored. If any party is found guilty of doing anything wrong then they should be held accountable.
I personally feel like I've been conned out of my life savings and I'm not the sort of person who just walks from that without putting up a fight.
