deregistered means the company no longer exists and any assets it had vest in ASIC. it is possible to reinstate a company after it has been deregistered but it's unlikely here. they did this about a week after ASIC charged them with Corporations Act offence/s (I haven't seen the charges but I notified them about the failure to hold an AGM, so I expect it will be that). claim your capital loss and hope the class action against grant thornton gets off the ground
