If none of these events occur prior to 30 June then we cannot claim a capital loss in our tax returns, and will only be able to when one of these events above has been triggered.

Thx for a good summary of where SHs currently sit i.e. up a creek without a paddle. The class action if it materialises could lead to some justice for SHs!

Getting a tax deduction for the share trading losses is an interesting one that hopefully will resolve itself in FY24.
