That sounds a likely scenario, dtab. Just one slight correction, though: 2nd extension date is 28th Feb. I'm sure they'll pretty much have made the acquisition decision next month, but as you suggest, would likely extend until Dec. I think they'd probably bite the bullet then to satisfy any potential partner's requirements and be able to move ahead with firm commitments. In addition, the care and maintenance/extension fee balance also changes on a two month time period compared to three.
