From the read of it, ok I had a little tear in my eye so I may have misunderstood. It sounds like they have somehow solved the “more voltage needed” from megabit platform, and got the previously dead Lot3 working… so now more testing in the megabit chip on the old lot, as they refine the process for the new etch.
sure it could delay, or Buggar up again, but that sounds pretty awesome to have the previous lot working now.

the tear came from thinking what getting lot 3 up and running must do to their testing and research. Instead of becoming landfill, or fashioning into a noose, it’s now a vital part of the game.
