Where I remain constantly confused is the bit of your post which says "eligible shareholders on the register" and the definition of an eligible shareholder in the actual offer documents which is: "A Shareholder who, as at 7.00pm (NZST) / 5.00pm (AEST) on the Record Date" the definition says you have to be a shareholder. Not a shareholder on the register.
In fact, if I do a search for the words "eligible shareholders on the register" or "eligible shareholder on the register" in the offer document, they cannot be found
