I have no idea which air lines in the world are "bust". I cant follow them all. But lets assume they are. Put that aside. Why would anyone in their right mind invest their hard earned cash in a company that is bust? Surely there are better companies to buy.

I'm not suggesting a person should not buy AIZ. Once upon a time i did. Back when they were bust. But I bought at the bottom of the market not the top. That was 2001. @AndySH, you may not have been alive then.

And what with this "only holders can post on hot copper" nonsense. Gee it would be super dull if all we had was poster patting each other on the back congratulating themselves on what wonderful investors they are. But, as I say I used to hold - so I reckon I have earnt the right to post. I dont recall exactly what I paid back then - think it was $0.25 - $0.30. Thats about the same level that would get my interest again as another buy proposition.

(Do you recall our other great air based opportunity - Martin Jetpack? I didnt hold them either. Go back to those threads and see how well that worked out for Australian holders of this NZ company)
