That's easy - One of the safest havens for the impending SHTF scenario.

There's no point having your money in the bank, even with higher deposit rates, as any interest earned won't come close to inflation.

And, people gotta live somewhere. Just like they've got to eat and put fuel in their cars.

Interest rates may be rising, but just watch what happens when governments open the floodgates to hundreds of thousands of immigrants a year. Higher interest rates may dampen local housing demand a little, but we are already severely under stocked. When those immigrants start flooding in, the net result will be stable or rising house prices for the foreseeable future regardless of interest rates.

Doesn't mean people will have money to travel. In fact, as housing and living costs explode and wages stagnate, discretionary spending will be one of the first things to suffer.

You're going to see more dilution and eventually, Governments bailing out carriers imo. If highly indebted, it's possible some carriers may even be Nationalised at cents in the dollar for SHs.

And don't even get me started on the ramifications of what just occurred in Russia on Global fleet leasing costs.

Better off buying bank or Harvey Norman stocks IMHO but each to their own.

Good luck - You're going to need it!
